Users Group Conference rated excellent!

May 16-19, GE Corporate Payment Services held its ninth annual User Group meeting. More than 160 representatives from 90 customer organizations traveled to San Antonio, TX for four days of educational breakouts and best-practice sharing. 

The theme of the conference was “Ideas sin Fronteras” (Ideas without Borders), celebrating our attendees’ willingness to exchange information and learn from each other. Thanks to some great new products to talk about, terrific classes taught by our National Account Managers and product team, and the hard work of the marketing team, our customers gave the conference a resounding rating of "Excellent!" In a post-conference survey, respondents rated the event 4.68 out of 5.00 – the best ever in the nine-year history of the conference.

During the day, there was a lot going on: Breakout sessions on the new SAM™ reporting system, vPayment, Payroll Card and more; a separate BusinessCard meeting for agent banks and co-brand partners; a national sales meeting for our Account Development team; and keynote addresses by GE Consumer Finance Present and CEO Mark Begor, MasterCard SVP Steve Abrams, and Holly Hegemann of Planebusiness.com.

In the evenings, events in the city’s charming Riverwalk district brought attendees together for fun and networking. A high point was an energetic, audience-participation drumming concert staged by Drum Café San Antonio.
